Hi, we’re TALA — glad you’re here
If you’re already familiar with us and ready to join, just select a membership tier and sign up
We provide useful resources to our members. There’s a huge directory, a calendar of events, and a running list of job opportunities & exhibition calls.
We also host events and promote textile art in LA and beyond.
But, for all the events and workshops and summits and seminars on woven fibers, ironically, it’s our hearts and our lives that have become intertwined.
So now, in a funny way, this community is textile art.

TALA Spotlight
Carrie Burckle
For our first TALA Benefactor Spotlight, it’s only right that we tip our caps to TALA’s own Carrie Burckle!
Having recently taken full responsibility for the future of TALA—Carrie’s own career as an artist can be overshadowed by her innumerable contributions to the Textile Arts community in Los Angeles and beyond.
But make no mistake, Carrie’s art is no supporting act.
