CALL FOR WORKSHOP INSTRUCTORS
Quilting for Community, Q4C is expanding the types of creative learning experiences they offer to the San Fernando Valley. They are seeking workshop proposals for 3-hour or 4-hour sessions anytime from July-December 2024.
Q4C design center features:
10 tables with sewing machines
one 4’ x 8’ cutting table
One 30” x 8’ conference table
One 16ft design wall
A pantry with microwave, coffee, and tea makers
Two bathrooms, one utility sink
Fabric Thrift Store
On-site parking and street parking are available
Q4C is a ½ mile from Chatsworth train station
Examples of suitable workshops include, and not are not limited to:
Sewing related projects & techniques: embroidery, beadwork
Quilting Techniques
Dyeing, Batik
Fiber arts (not felting)
Jewelry making, beadwork, leather
