Opening March 12, 2022, the American Museum of Ceramic Art presents Connected Spaces, an exhibition of works by weaver Micheal Rhode and ceramic artist Cheryl Ann Thomas.

In a dialogue between mediums, Forrer’s surreal tapestries traverse mythical worlds while Morris’s oil paintings map space and color, a conversation emerges. On view at Parker Gallery until April 9th.

An interactive exhibit from the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco highlights textiles dating from the 19th and 20th centuries in Southeast Asia. “They tell stories that are as varied as the region’s hundreds of weaving traditions and as universal as cloth.”
