For over a decade, Sanchez Art Center has been delighted to present a very large show of very small works, the 50|50 Show. For 50 days, participating artists create 50 small artworks.

Textile artist Catherine Reinhart cultivates care for cloth and community through slow stitching and quilting. Participants will be led in a quilt restoration project over the course of four virtual sessions followed by one in-person gathering.

The national reckoning for social justice spurred by protests and the Black Lives Matter movement has made clear that all museums and arts organizations must do better to represent, engage, financially support, and communicate with their BIPOC communities. The Artist Marketplace is a companion to the virtual exhibition, and 70% of each artwork sale directly supports the participating artists.
