The Weaving Way: an online book discussion

To coincide with the launch of her new book, Kate Kilmurray welcomes members of the Textile Arts LA community to join her for a special online event to celebrate the way handweaving is a central part of women's lives; recording and reflecting not only the everyday, but also the significant and transformative moments which shape us.

The book, The Weaving Way - a journey of a handweaving community is a celebration of those of us who are united by the creativity of the small loom and features the work and words of handweavers from across the USA; Linda Arandas, Karen D'Angelo, Terri Frantz, Suzanne Hokanson, Brenda Hopkins, Linda Lutomski, Linda Smith Gurganus, Michelle Spaulding and Abbie Zabar, with a foreword from Deborah Jean Cohen.

Join Kate and all the contributors at the next Weaving Way Community online meeting via Zoom where they will share their experience of what it was like to participate in the making of the book.

Saturday, December 2nd from 1-2 pm PT / 4-5pm ET,
This is an free online presentation via Zoom, registration required
