A Racket of Banshees: Goddesses and Monsters Re-Imagined

  • Wignall Museum of Contemporary Art, Chaffee College 5885 Haven Avenue Rancho Cucamonga, California, 91737 United States (map)

A Racket of Banshees: Goddesses and Monsters Re-Imagined invites viewers into a world of myth, feminist archetypes, and speculative futures. This exhibition features contemporary feminist artists across sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, video, performance, and community workshops.

Blending the divine and the monstrous, the exhibition explores transformation, gender equity, and imagined futures. Monsters challenge the status quo, while goddesses illuminate unknown possibilities. Together, they create a space between myth and reality where viewers are invited to reflect on what must end, what can emerge anew, and how another world might be possible.
