Learn how to create the kinetic and versatile “Flag Book” structure, with artist and TextileArts | LA member Debra Disman.

Image transfers are a fun and compelling way to create one-of-a-kind prints and mixed-media pieces from your photography. Using encaustic wax as the transfer medium, you will learn how to quickly make transfers on a variety of surfaces and explore ways of enhancing your work with other media.

Textile Slam! is our semi-regular opportunity for friendly conversation and networking, featuring a rotating slate of presenters, each of whom will deliver an informal six-minute informal presentation.

Step into the enchanting world of Color Alchemy on Silk, where the expressive power of color becomes a key design element in an array of engaging workshops. Join expert instructors Beth Abaravich, Carrie Burckle, and Tifanie White in this immersive three-part series, where the art of surface design on silk fabrics is revealed through the intricate techniques of batik, marbling, and Japanese shibori.
