Studio Visit with Echiko Ohira
At the core of Echiko Ohira’s practice is paper; Folded, torn, painted, layered, stained, delicately manipulated and rearranged. Through sheer repetition, she creates a structure that can expand either infinitely outward or inwards, evoking both microcosms and macrocosms. We visited Exhiko Ohhira at her studio to learn more about about the processes and ideas behind her elaborate paper works.
