Fashion Statements: Decoding Israeli Dress at IMJ

Fashion Statements surveys a century of dress in Israel, exploring late 19th-century indigenous fashion, the opposing forces of Europeanism and Orientalism, and Israeli creative influences in the global fashion scene today. Work on view includes clothing, fashion sketches, films, and fashion photography, illustrating the broad scope of fashion in Israel.
