Ctrl / Shift: New Directions in Textile Art at NCCD

The 62 Group of Textile Artists will have their latest projects and experiments on view at the National Centre for Craft & Design in Ctrl / Shift. Enabling artists to explore, Ctrl / Shift focuses on artists whose practice is or has transformed, in particular regard to innovation in textile art. Shifts in practice may include introduction of new materials or techniques; considering the impact of contemporary themes or ideas; and evolving technologies.

Comprised of over thirty artworks, this exhibition concept was developed in partnership by the 62 Group to challenge the boundaries of textile practices.

Ctrl / Shift opens on February 2 and is on view until April 22, 2019.

More information about the exhibition can be found here.
