Ruth Asawa: Life's Work at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation

The Pulitzer Arts Foundation in St. Louis, MO presents the first major museum exhibition of Ruth Asawa (1926-2013) since 2006. Exhibition will be on view September 14, 2018 through February 16, 2019.

As the first museum exhibition outside of the West Coast, this landmark career-spanning exhibition brings together some eighty works, of which nearly sixty sculptures from the full trajectory of her career. Some work dates back to her hears at Black Mountain College, where she studied with Josef Albers, who inspired her interest in materials as generators of form.
