Pink: The History of a Punk, Pretty, Powerful Color at The Museum at FIT

Pink: The History of Punk, Pretty, Powerful Color at The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology was organized by the museum’s director and chief curator, Dr. Valerie Steele. Pink features 80 ensembles from the 18th century to the present, with examples ranging from Esla Schiaparelli, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Allesandro Michele of Gucci, Jeremy Scott of Moschino, and Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons.

The exhibition will be on view from September 7, 2018 through January 5, 2019. A free symposium on October 19, 2018 will be livestreamed. More information about this exhibition can be found here.
