Textile Arts LA is building a more connected, engaged, and inspiring member community in 2026. We’re launching two member-focused initiatives and invite you to participate by submitting proposals and expressing your interest.

Members Textile Speaker Series — Call for Proposals

Facilitator: Liberty Worth
Location: Wende Museum – Glorya Kaufman Community Center Classroom
Time: Saturdays, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Dates are still open as we have the space on the first Saturdays of the month.

What We’re Seeking:
Members who would like to share their textile/fiber work through:

  • Digital presentations (large monitor available)

  • Hands-on show & tell

  • Short instructional “make & take” activities

  • Interactive formats are encouraged

  • Up to two members may share the same 2-hour session

    How to Participate:
    Submit a brief proposal describing what you’d like to share.

Members-Only Studio Visits — Seeking Hosts for 2026

We’re excited to offer Members Studio Visits throughout 2026 and are looking for members willing to open their studios.

Facilitators:

  • Michelle Robinson (lead facilitator)

    How to Participate:

    If you’d like to host a studio visit, please contact 
    Michelle Robinson with your interest and basic details. Michelle will follow up to coordinate scheduling and logistics.
