Resurrection: Beckoning the Crone brings together mature women artists in an exhibition examining the power and relevance of the Crone in a time of cultural imbalance and ecological strain. Working across painting, sculpture, installation, and mixed media, the artists explore themes of feminine consciousness, lived experience, and a renewed relationship to nature and the divine.
Framed as a cultural and psychological reawakening, the exhibition reclaims the Crone as a figure of clarity, discernment, and authority rather than decline. The works engage questions of balance between feminine and masculine, the role of embodied and intuitive knowledge, and the restoration of connection to the natural world.
Positioning artists as agents of perception, the exhibition highlights art’s capacity tochallenge inherited narratives and reassert a sense of the sacred.
