Explore the random weave technique with different flexible materials. Medium and small pieces will be created as vessels and stuffed forms. This workshop is perfect for artists and enthusiasts looking for a basis in understanding how to create dimensional form, play with unconventional materials, and explore how form and material can be combined for creative and functional use.
Materials supplied by the instructor are twine, reeds, wire, natural fibers and fabric. This is a great technique to combine with other basketry and weaving methods.
