Knot Sorry

  • Not Shockboxx 636 Cypress Avenue Hermosa Beach, California, 90254 United States (map)

There’s something subversive about softness. Knot Sorry pulls fiber art out of the polite, domestic corner and into the spotlight where it belongs: bold, labor-intensive, intimate, and impossible to ignore. From quilts that carry generations of stories to sculptural textiles, embroidery, weaving, crochet, sewing, and mixed media, this exhibition explores the ways artists transform thread into memory, protest, identity, obsession, and care.

These works ask us to slow down. To notice the labor in every stitch, the tension in every knot, and the histories woven into every surface. They blur the line between craft and fine art, proving that softness can be powerful, and that handmade work can be both deeply personal and unapologetically confrontational.

Come experience an exhibition filled with remarkable artists who are redefining what fiber art can be. Meet the artists, explore the work, and celebrate an opening night that's anything but ordinary.

No apologies. No minimizing. Knot Sorry.
