The Textile Society of America invites you to join a special half-day virtual gathering featuring artists, scholars, makers, and cultural leaders engaging the urgent intersections of textiles, equity, and collective futures.
This gathering will bring together an extraordinary cohort of artists and scholars whose work embodies these questions. Featuring illuminating keynote speakers, the 2026 recipient of the Branford Elliott Award for Excellence in Fiber Art, and “Warp Speed” presentations by 3 peer-selected fellows from TSA’s The Lab mentorship program.
As part of the Colloquium, we are pleased to present a special conversation exploring the ethics of storytelling, representation, and responsibility in cultural production with members of the creative team behind the forthcoming documentary Gee’s Bend: Welcome To The Hole.
