Nurturing Creativity by Evoking Presence w/ Kate Kilmurray

  • online via Zoom, Pacific Time (map)

Our modern, everyday environment is increasingly over-digitized and over-stimulated and it can be highly difficult to achieve a stillness that allows creativity to flow freely. Because our lives are so often the opposite of stillness and presence, it takes intention, commitment and practice to evoke the peace which abides at the very core of our being. Taking time to practice this intention can be pivotal in unlocking our artistic potential. Join handweaver Kate Kilmurray as she tells her story about craft, creativity and presence.

Kate's handwoven textile work is stocked all over the world and she regularly supports people beginning their own weaving journey through her best-selling workshops. A lifelong yoga and meditation practitioner and graduate of Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield's Mindful Meditation Certification Program, Kate combines her expertise to guide others through her 'Weaving as Meditation' courses.

This event is appropriate for all makers, not only weavers.
