Immerse yourself under a canopy of entangled red threads in the Hammer Museum Foyer.

The exhibit brings together more than 70 works in an iconic survey of the many iterations of craft. The exhibition features never before shown pieces by lesser known artists working in clay, fiber, glass, metal and more.

The Japan Society’s current exhibition, Boro Textiles: Sustainable Aesthetics, features boro textiles hand-pieced by Japanese peasants in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
