Small Expressions Exhibition

Handweavers Guild of America’s Small Expressions Exhibit 2022 is here in Los Angeles at Studio 203.

Small Expressions has traveled throughout the SouthEastern US and Los Angeles is its final destination. The exhibit was juried by Los Angeles Artist Cameron Taylor-Brown.

“Small Expressions is an annual juried exhibition showcasing contemporary, small-scale fiber work in a range of media. Each piece is no larger than 15 inches in any direction, inviting viewers to closely examine the work and intimately experience the artist’s hand. Featured work speaks to the intricacy of expression, intimacy of design, thoughtful communication, and visual excitement through material exploration. This touring exhibition’s purpose is to increase awareness of contemporary fiber art and uplift its perceived value while providing opportunities for working artists. “

Participating artists include: Kadey Ambrose, Loren Batt, Ghislaine Bazir, Al Canner, Carolyn Carson, Sharon Crary, Jean Fausser, Susan Fedenia, Paula Giovanini-Morris, Lydia Tjioe Hall, Kimberley Harding, Amanda Jeffrey, Jean Koon, Annetta Kraayeveld, Brecia Kralovic-Logan, Tina Linville, Nancy Middlebrook, Jennifer Moore, Katy Nygard, Ellen Ramsey, Shanna Robinson, Elizabeth Rogers, Jenny Schu, Jeanne Sisson, Felicitas Sloves, Rebecca Smith, Kathe Todd-Hooker, Anie Toole, Rebecca Voris, Sue Weil, Marcia Weiss, Peggy Wiedemann, Nancy Wohlenberg and Bonnie Zimmer.
