Community Outreach Manager | Free Arts

Free Arts, a nonprofit that uses art to help children recover from trauma and abuse, is looking for a mid level manager.

Free Arts is seeking a Community Outreach Manager to oversee programs and manage community relationships. Interested parties should send cover letter and resume to info@freearts.org

Founded in 1977 by an art therapist, Free Arts brings together leaders from child psychology, art, design, fashion and the business community to restore hope, self-esteem and resiliency in children in Los Angeles who have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness.  We do this through a curriculum that uses art projects informed by the four pillars of social justice: Identity, Diversity, Justice, and Action.  To be effective, staff, facilitators, teachers and volunteers must understand their connection to these pillars and be comfortable helping the children to connect to these social justice ideals.
