Eckhaus Latta: Possessed at the Whitney

Eckhaus Latta: Possessed opened earlier this month at the Whitney Museum of American Art, and runs until October 8, 2018.

Highlighting the work of Eckhaus Latta, a young design team at the intersection of fashion and contemporary art. Founded in 2011, the New York-Los Angeles fashion label was born out of Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta's years at RISD. Known for unexpected materials in their designs, they also incorporate writing, performance and video in their practice. Possessed operates as a retail environment in which visitors may touch, try on, and purchase clothing specifically designed for the show.
