A small excerpt about The World of Threads Festival can be found below. Submission FAQ and form can be found here.

"The World of Threads Festival is the international festival of contemporary fibre and textile art in Oakville, Ontario. It's massive and we've shown some pretty amazing work over the years. Festival 2016 attracted over 60,000 visitors. It had 315 artworks by 134 artists from 23 countries. The festival draws visitors from across the region, the country and internationally.

We're excited to be launching the 2018 International Call for Submissions! We'd love to see all the new artworks that have been made since our last call for submissions back in Mar. 2016. Please share this with your friends, family, colleagues and anyone who may be interested.
