Liz Collins: Conduition at LMAK Gallery

Liz Collins’ first solo exhibition, Conduition, will be on view through October 21 at the LMAKgallery in NY. The title is a combination of “conduit” and “intuition” and “condition,” referencing Dr. Daniel Siegel’s essay The Personal Self is a Construction: Understanding Energy Flow and How We Construct Information. Work on view in Conduition features Collins’ dynamic visual language with focus on duality in each piece: chaos/order, pain/pleasure, light/dark, tension/release, open/closed. These are core concepts in Collins’ aesthetics.

Collins is a NY-based artist working in art, design, fashion, installation and performance. She enjoys pushing the limits of her work and doing the unexpected across the spectrum of textile media.

More information about the exhibition, including images and the press release, can be found here.
