Stitching Your Story, A Narrative Embroidery Workshop

  • Craft Contemporary 5814 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles, CA, 90036 United States (map)

In this embroidery workshop you’ll craft a Hero’s Journey Scroll—inspired by  The Epic of Gilgamesh, and its ancient search for eternity—as a living record of your personal mythology.
Guided by Shago, the creative behind folk.lounge you are invited to become the archivist of your own magic.
Through the intimate ritual of drawing and embroidery, participants will create a personal scroll that preserves and honors their lived experiences and transformation - the unspoken, unrecorded, and forgotten stories that shape who we are. This is conservation work of the most personal kind: stitching lineage, labor, and quiet triumphs into tangible form, ensuring that what we have lived endures.

All materials are provided.
