Join Hilary Hahn and Lori Zimmerman on August 11th and learn to create your own custom embroidered clutch bag!
In this workshop, you will learn to naturally dye upholstery weight cotton using color extracted from plants then embroider it to create a unique handmade clutch.
You will learn the basics of natural dyeing and embroidery, Including basic Sashiko and running stitches with fiber artist, Lori Zimmerman to embellish your new clutch. Your piece can then be lined with a lining provided and finished with a magnetic metallic clasp.

Hilary Hahn is a visual artist and textile designer. She uses natural dye materials and traditional processes in a modern way. With a background in interiors and fine art, she unites these worlds through her textile designs. Hilary founded the Creative Sundays workshop series to help people discover new creative processes and spark creativity, while making items that are both beautiful and functional.
Lori Zimmerman is a fiber artist working with fabric painting, photography and embroidery. Her current body of work is inspired by our need, as we face life’s challenges, to mend ourselves and the world around us. Lori has a BFA from California College of Art. Lori initially worked in fabric print design and interior design, and has been exhibiting her fine art in the United States and Canada since 2011.
