My Head is Full of Colors: createIt@ARTSgarage seminar

My Head is Full of Colors
A free createIt@ARTSgarage seminar for “educators of all stripes”

We'll begin by sharing the delightful story My Head is Full of Colors by Catherine Friend. Then we'll create puppets inspired by the story, using colorful yarns, socks, buttons and more from the extensive ARTSgarage stash. We made sock puppets at ARTSgarage once before in 2014, and it is time for their triumphant return!

To register for this free seminar, reply to and put "createIt registration" in the subject line. I will confirm your spot and include directions to my mid-Wilshire Los Angeles studio. Space is limited.

is an initiative developed by teaching artist Cameron Taylor-Brown and offers all educators - teaching artists, classroom teachers, museum educators, docents  and more - an opportunity to nurture our own creativity through collaborative work. We use the fiber arts as our vehicle of expression - working with simple processes and materials on hand in Cameron’s studio. These peer-to-peer sessions are free of charge and are offered in a spirit of celebratory sharing.
