They can’t live without it. We can. will open on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Ghebaly Gallery (L.A. location). Ingrid Luche’s Ghost Dresses series will be on view, a group of fabric sculptures that are suspended from support structures used for photo studio backdrops. These objects act as part display and part wearable, conceptualized in California and produced in Paris. Constructed from a collection of images the artist took during her travels in California (including a burning house, mural of Arnold Schwarzenegger, and disposable headphones), this series challenges the production issues in both art and society.
