"The world sends us garbage, we send back music."
You are warmly invited to take part in a special screening of Landfill Harmonic, a feature length documentary that follows the journey of a Paraguayan Youth Orchestra that makes its instruments entirely out of waste. The film masterfully demonstrates how ordinary people can make extraordinary choices to rise above conflict and create so much hope in the process.
Join us for a wine and cheese gathering, a viewing of the film and a Q+A with The Possibility Project‘s founders, Kim Pearce and Kath Davis.* There will also be a pop-up of clothing from the slumwear108 line.
Note: There is no charge for this program but please RSVP as space is limited: email@example.com
*The Possibility Project is an Australian based social enterprise that collaborates with slum communities in India to create a slow clothing label called slumwear108. The founders will share their insights on how people around the world are collaborating to enact peaceful social and environmental cohesion.
