2018 artist-in-residence

Our first artist in residency, Aneesa Shami, had access to a Helms Design Center showroom for six weeks. The space was conducive to large scale construction and the public nature of the showroom served as an informal on-going exhibition. We hope to host another residency in the very near future.

A swap-barter-giveaway event we held at Helms Design Center as a holiday get together. Many brought materials, tools, containers, artwork to pass along to other eager artists. Attendance was free and we will be holding another event like this at the end of every year.
