BIO

I am a freelance knitwear designer living in Orange County. I started developing knitting patterns in 2007 because I wanted rustic hand-knit garments and accessories, but couldn't afford to buy them. What grew from that desire was a love of knitting.

I have published 2 books, Dress-to-Impress Knitted Scarves and Dress-to-Impress Knitted Boot Cuffs & Leg Warmers. My designs have been featured in Vogue Knitting, Interweave Knits and Twist Collective

ARTIST STATEMENT

To think that with a ball of string and two needles you can make your favorite, softest, most beautiful sweater you own is quite amazing. I hope to inspire others to make something they cherish and experience the process and pride of being a maker.
