ARTIST STATEMENT
As we are all learning how to conduct our lives in this new normal, creating work has been challenging. It has also been a unique opportunity to focus on what is really important.
I am interested in working with textures and of pieces of history. My work can be subtle , and is often autobiographical and hopefully exploring issues that are universal. I use various mediums to explore both social personal issues that are currently erupting from the discourse of Modern American Culture and its treatment of women and under represented racial groups and genders.
