Join artist Liv Aanrud for this class and tuft the world you want to see!
Form and function come together in this engaging introductory tufting workshop, where students will design and create a custom tufted frame for a mirror. In “Tuft Your Own Mirror," participants will be guided through the fundamentals of tufting, including an overview of materials, workspace setup, and the safe, efficient use of a tufting gun. Students will learn essential techniques for building texture, shaping forms, and achieving clean edges while translating their design ideas into a functional decorative object. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with a completed mirror framed in their own original tufted design, as well as the foundational skills to continue exploring tufting in future projects.
