Join LA Tactile Lab for a conversation with Los Angeles based artist Tristan Esmino. Tristan works in the realms of sculpture and textiles. His practice is informed by his experience as a first-generation Filipino immigrant living in Southern California. Ideas of migration, movement, family history and the ways we carry memories take form of body and vessels. The hidden labors of love and care are stitched and woven into a site of reclamation, giving a sense of belonging to the history and the values of his layered identities.
