Join artist Alexis Zoto for a 2-day workshop for an introduction to hand-weaving on a frame loom.
On the first day, students will learn to prepare the loom with a warp, make a sampler with a variety of weaving techniques and stitches. Students will create shapes and play with texture and color.
The workshop will end with experimentation, material exploration, and learn how to remove the tapestry.
This class is great for anyone who wants to try this ancient craft and art form.
