Now you can learn how to make beautiful permanent designs on silk fabric with TALA member Beth Abaravich.

Utilizing the time honored technique of gutta resist and silk dyes students will create unique pieces of wearable art. They are encouraged to bring inspiration for a design they would like to make and Beth will help them adapt it to the scarf format. Then they will draw the resist on the fabric and fill the lines in with color. We will set the dyes in class and you can take your work home to enjoy or give as a gift. Above all fun is our end goal!
