Join BORO BORO for an introduction to the basics of sashiko stitching by making your own hand stitched sashiko coaster set!
In this workshop we will go over the history of sashiko as well as the fundamentals of basic sashiko stitching including materials, sewing posture, and general tips. We will utilize Hidamari coaster kits from Japan provided by Nellita's Craft and provide English instructions step by step. Each student will take home a sashiko coaster set to take home with them as well as the supplies needed to continue their practice at home!
Supplies to bring: Small scissors or snips (optional, we will have some to borrow if needed)
