Mending Time with Vintage Japanese Fabrics

Come mend with BORO BORO!
As a compliment to the more structured mending workshop we are hosting in February we'll be hosting a casual mending hour at Nellita's Craft! No formal instruction this time, just two hours of mending time for you to work on your own projects! I'll be available to help guide you with your mending, patching, and stitching projects. We will be be providing sashiko thread and a big stash of beautiful vintage Japanese fabric scraps for you utilize in your work!

BRING: Something you’d like to patch, mend, or decorate as well as some basic sewing supplies!
Recommended supplies: sashiko thread, needles, small scissors or snips
Optional supplies: sashiko thimble, straight pins, needle threader

WE'LL PROVIDE: A few colors of sashiko thread as well as a big selection of vintage Japanese textile scraps for you to use in your work!
