In this 3-session workshop at The Huntington, explore the history of papermaking and make your own paper, guided by TALA member Jenna Bonistalli.
You will visit the library archive and garden collections to draw connections with the artistic process. Participants will make paper from kozo (paper mulberry) and another plant harvested from the garden, such as banana. If seasonally available, we will also explore uses for papyrus.
All supplies and materials are included.
Suitable for all levels; no previous experience is necessary, ages 18+
