Welcome to macramé! Have you always wanted to learn but didn’t know where to start? Let’s start with the basics and make a simple, yet fully functional shelf.
During this course you will learn the basic macrame knots, Larks Head Knot and Square Knot. You will use these techniques to make a neutral shelf for plants, vases, art or tchotchkes. Meg Spitzer will provide all of the ingredients, including the 3ply rope and wood pieces. You will leave class with beautiful and useful decor for your home.
No experience? Perfect. Meg believes that fiber art is for everyone who’s interested, that its accessibility, community and diversity is a large part what makes it beautiful.
