In weeks 1 and 2 , join artist Svetlana Shigroff to experiment with alternative materials and processing, sourcing fabrics and trims in dtla and hand tufting techniques.
In weeks 3 and 4, Liv Aanrud guides participants through painterly techniques, machine tufting and yarn finishing.
Across four immersive weeks, you'll gain insight into the creative processes and material sensibilities that define each artist's signature textile style and leave with two samplers that will inform your own practice.
