Join Griffin Dyeworks for two days of dyeing, fiber arts, and creative workshops in the scenic ranch lands outside Victorville, CA. Our retreats are CASUAL and INCLUSIVE to all skill levels and people.
Classes may each have a materials fee – but you can choose which classes to take and control your schedule and budget!

Bookbinding – Making Paper, Marbling Endpapers, Assembling a Book
Spinning – Blending a Custom Batt with a Drum Carder (or Blending Board), Blending an Art Batt with a Drum Carder, Spinning from an Art Batt
Card Weaving – Warping your Loom, Some Basic Patterns, Some Advanced Patterns, Finishing Your (guitar/camera/bag) Strap
Natural Dyeing – Turkey Red and Indigo Bandanas with Itajime and Cold Paste Resist
Stitching – Design a Cross Stitch Biscornu, Cross Stitch, Biscornu Assembly
Andean Weaving Intensive – First Time Hands-On Andean Backstrap Weaving, How to Make Andean Backstrap Warps (or Interesting Work with Pegs and Continuous Heddles), Spinning Khaitu (and Other Weaving Yarns)
Fees for Lodging:
Registration includes nine meals and three nights lodging.
Retreat Guests can also sign up for classes (class fees are NOT INCLUDED in this price – you set your budget & schedule).
$50 – Deposit for any registration level. NON REFUNDABLE.
$400 – Retreat Guest (ages 11+) – Double occupancy room. You can choose your roommate!
$550 – Retreat Guest (ages 11+) – Single occupancy room.
$350 – Ages 3+ Family (no retreat classes, just food & lodging)
Fees without lodging:
$100 – Friday only: 3 meals, Classes, Evening Presentation
$100 – Saturday only: 3 meals, Classes, Evening Raffle
$100 – Sunday only: Breakfast & Lunch; Casual Classes 9-11am
