Join Zapotec artist Vero Mendoza and learn ancestral techniques for preparing and dyeing textiles with natural dyes. All participants will receive a pre-treated cotton bandana to dye and take home. The workshop will also include a weaving demonstration with naturally dyed yarn, an art form passed down for four generations in Mendoza's family. This outdoors workshop will be held in Zapotec and Spanish.
