Learn how to make a knotted rug weaving with yarn and upcycled textiles! Taught by Aneesa Shami Zizzo, this workshop is inspired by the long history of rug making in many cultures, specifically in SWANA and Arab regions. Focusing on hand knotting techniques, participants will play with different fibers, color and texture to create a small rug and learn the basics of weaving.
