with Aneesa Shami and Able Arts Learn for Life
Thursday, September 23rd from 4pm - 5:30pm PST
Online via Zoom

Learn how to make a knotted rug weaving with yarn and upcycled textiles. This workshop is inspired by the long history of rug making in many cultures. We will play with different types of yarn and/or fabric strips to create small rugs. Rug knotting is a methodical technique and is a great introduction to the basics of loom weaving. No need for a fancy loom - we will create our own looms from cardboard in this workshop! All levels of experience are welcome.
Note that this workshop will be online via Zoom.
