Woman Interwoven: A Project by Victoria Manganiello

  • online via Zoom, Pacific Time (map)

Woman Interwoven is a docu-series sharing stories and experiences of women around the world working with textiles in surprising ways. By juxtaposing women in biology labs, spaceships, architecture firms, farms, museums, websites, electronics labs, places of worship, and elsewhere, these short episodes will convey the ubiquitousness of textiles and highlight women's diverse contributions to that legacy.

Join us as artist and documentarian Victoria Manganiello discusses her project, what it’s about, why she does it, what she’s accomplished so far, and where she is going. She’ll speak for about 35-40 minutes, then leave time for Q&A.
