Computer 1.0 travels to Indianapolis Contemporary for Synthesis Exhibition

Have you seen the “Computer 1.0” installation by Victoria Manganiello and Julian Goldman (online or in person)? This woven installation hangs from the ceiling, exploring the relationship between textile and technology. It references Manganiello’s inspiration from women in STEM, Ada Lovelace and the emergence of the Jacquard loom punchcard system.

“Computer 1.0” will be on view at the Indianapolis Contemporary museum for their Synthesis exhibition, beginning July 17th through August 4th.. More info about that exhibition can be found here.
