Tapestry - Woven Tales, exhibition in Istanbul

Tapestry - Woven Tales is currently on view at Anna Laudel in Istanbul, featuring selected tapestries from emerging and acclaimed artists. The art of weaving reflects centuries of cultural heritage in Turkey, but has only recently been used as a form of expression in contemporary Turkish art. A combination of traditional and contemporary weaving techniques are on view in this exhibition, mixing classic tapestries with new works by contemporary artists.
