KCET Documentary on Four Artists and How Motherhood Impacted Them

A KCET documentary features the careers and lives of Kenyatta A. C. Hinkle, Andrea Chung, Rebecca Campbell and Tanya Aguiñiga. Artist and Mother is part of Artbound's ninth season, documenting projects of artists in So Cal. Among episodes that feature the California Indian Basketweavers Association, art making as healing for PTSD, and more.

The four artists in Artist and Mother were selected for not only being mothers and artists, but also for creating work about motherhood. Discussing everything from postpartum depression to navigating racism and misogyny in the art world, these women have managed to be mothers and thrive in their careers.
