Inflatable: Expanding Works of Art at the Exploratorium

Check out Inflatable: Expanding Works of Art at the Exploratorium in San Francisco this summer! Curated by Christopher Jobson, founder and editor-in-chief of Colossal, Inflatable features site-specific installations and existing artworks. These dynamic and enormous sculptures have transformed the Exploratorium into a range of new experiences. There is an inflatable multi-lensed camera obscura, inflatable humanoids filling the building from floor to ceiling, and organic forms that seem to create a microscopic biological world.

Inflatable is on view now through September 3rd:

  • Daily Summer Hours (May 26–September 3), 10am–5pm (All ages)

  • After Dark Thursday Evenings, 6–10pm (Ages 18+)

  • Friday Evening Extended Hours (July 6–August 31), 10am–9pm (All Ages)

Participating artists include: Amanda Parer, Pneuhas, Jimmy Kuehnle, Shih Chieh Huang, and Jason Hackenwerth.

More info can be found on Exploratorium's website.
